A little bit about me & why planting trees
In my early years, I spent holidays and free time in nature, building a deep connection with the natural world. Also, I have loved drawing and painting for as long as I can remember.
Becoming an artist allowed me to expand this fascination into my drawing, prints, and paintings, and this passion I feel for nature and the natural world extends into my work.
The pandemic was a turning point for me, sparking a deep sense of urgency and purpose to pursue my dreams in environmentalism and activism. Many people, during such a challenging time, reassessed their lives and realised that the world is facing critical issues, such as climate change, that require immediate attention and action.
My shift to focusing on environmental issues and using art as a tool for activism is incredibly impactful. Art has a unique ability to connect with people on an emotional level, raising awareness and inspiring change in ways that words and images can do. It can foster empathy, create a sense of urgency, and encourage people to take action towards a better future for the planet.
