Judit Prieto Art: My Journey and Commitment to Planting Trees

My relationship with nature began in childhood, spending holidays and free time outdoors with my family. Those experiences shaped both my love of the natural world and my passion for drawing and painting. Over time, my artistic practice evolved from landscape painting towards more expressive and abstract works inspired by forests, ecosystems and the emotional connection we share with nature.

The pandemic marked a turning point in my life and artistic journey. It deepened my awareness of the environmental challenges facing our planet and strengthened my desire to contribute in a meaningful way. I began exploring how art could become not only a form of expression, but also a tool for environmental action.

Today, my work is driven by a commitment to both creativity and conservation. Through my paintings, drawings and linocuts, I seek to celebrate the beauty of nature while encouraging reflection on its fragility and the importance of protecting it for future generations.

Planting trees through my art is an extension of this commitment. Each artwork becomes part of a larger effort to support reforestation and environmental restoration.
