Connecting with Nature: Four Seasons Series
Autumn
This work is part of a larger ongoing series about the Four Seasons. It is inspired by the Autumn season. The Spiritual Nature Paintings aim to invite the viewer to reflect on the fragility and impermanence of life, more importantly, the human-nature connection, and unfold the message hidden in nature to human beings.
The Spiritual Nature Painting Ascending Souls is the evocative feeling of
Autumn, which is represented through the changes in the colour palette inspired by Mother Nature. The floating leaves, made in resin, represent the spiritual meaning of letting go and the physicality of life evolving into the unseen spirit. For this reason, the leaves are transparent and ascending, instead of falling, as it usually happens in Autumn.
The Spiritual Nature Painting Brain - Oak Leaves is an invitation to meditate thus evoking a feeling of clarity and relaxation.
The Spiritual Nature Painting Lungs - Maple Leaves invites the viewer to reflect on human dependancy of nature for survival.
The Spiritual Nature Painting Heart - Redbud Leaves invites the viewer to connect with the love that nature give us through life. The Redbud Leaves has the shape of a heart.
Spring
Awakening is the feeling of Spring depicted using a changing green palette, inspired by Mother Nature.
The Spiritual Nature Painting represents the miracle of new life, from light through all the stages of Spring until dark.
The Spiritual Nature Painting Sight - Lotus Flower invites the viewer to reflect on the Awakening of the being.
Sight is one of the senses we use to perceive Spring, and the Lotus Flower petal has the same shape as the eye.
The Spiritual Nature Painting Taste - Chrysanthemum invites the viewers to connect with their inside joy.
Taste is one of our senses, and the Chrysanthemum petals have the shape of a tongue.
