Tree of Your Soul

A Series of 12 Paintings representing the Earthly connection among 12 trees, 36 people, and 12 star signs.

This Series explores the connection between the Earth element and people through trees. Judit was inspired to explore the relationship of different type of trees with human beings through their astrological signs, when she met the tree of her star sign Scorpio.

She used painting and photography techniques and created one painting for each star sign that expresses the connection of one type of tree with three people having the same star sign. Each person was assigned a word from the human values and a colour that defines them. In the research process, she found a connection between the words that helped her to create the composition of the soul, forming a sentence that links everything together in the painting.

Each Spiritual Nature Painting represents a part of the tree bark opened to reveal the soul captured on the abstract part of the painting.
